The Transforming Fisheries Sector in the South-West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project, funded by the World Bank, is organizing a three-month internship program for youth to encourage greater interest in the fishing sector. The program will provide practical training and skills to prepare participants for careers in fishing and other fishing related activities.

In addition to technical knowledge about the fisheries industry, the training program will allow participants to actively engage in fishing.
