Minister Ahmed Shiyam, met with Mr. Adnan Cheema, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the Republic of Maldives.

The discussion focused on potential areas for collaboration, including enhancing value addition through improved processing, promoting sustainable financing mechanisms, empowering women involved in small-scale fish processing, and strengthening the resilience of the fisheries sector.
